Carol served as the Director of Athletics at Roland Park Country School in Baltimore MD for nine years where she was a member of the senior leadership team.  Carol’s tenure at RPCS began in 2013 following eight years in collegiate athletics.  With an average of nearly 80% of Middle School students and 70% of Upper School students playing at least one sport, Carol had an enormous impact on the journeys of hundreds of student-athletes and coaches at RPCS.  Under her leadership, RPCS earned 16 league championships and over 200 athletes were named IAAM All-Conference.

Carol also has extensive experience as a leader within the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM).  Carol served as President of the IAAM for two years, successfully captaining the league of 30 member schools through the global pandemic.  She also served on the competition committee and as a sport chair during her tenure.  In January of 2020, she was named IAAM Athletic Director of the Year by the Maryland State Athletic Directors Association, representing District 10.

In 2018, she was inducted into the Baltimore Chapter of the U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame where she was honored for her tremendous accomplishments as both a player and coach. A two-sport collegiate athlete, Carol believes in the powerful impact that athletics can have on a student’s educational experience and life beyond the playing field.  She has committed her professional career to building high functioning teams, leading with her head and heart.
