Roland Park Country School is looking for a full-time mathematics teacher for the Upper School. The position is to teach four classes and serve as advisor to a group of students. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of teaching experience, a love for mathematics, and an eagerness to share his or her passion with an enthusiastic student body. The Upper School at RPCS teaches from the Philips Exeter curriculum using a constructivist approach, and the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the core concepts of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus along with the communication skills to be able to direct an inquiry-based lesson of these concepts. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be excited to work alongside and collaborate with similarly passionate educators of mathematics to craft the ideal math learning environment for his or her students.
