Priscilla graduated from Riverdale Country School in The Bronx, and went on to attend Yale University, where she earned her bachelor’s in History. Upon graduation from Yale, Priscilla returned to Riverdale Country School to teach, and her roles at the school continued to grow. In addition to teaching history to middle and upper school students, Priscilla served as the Director of Diversity, Director of Financial Aid & Outreach, and Dean of Students, Class of 2011. In August of 2011, Priscilla accepted a position, or rather, many positions, at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, Conn. She is the Associate Director of Admission and Dean of the 9th Grade, and teaches history and philanthropy, and also advises independent studies.
Though her focus is always on students, Priscilla believes strongly in supporting faculty and staff, focusing on professional development and growth. At Greenwich Academy, she voluntarily developed a series of workshops for faculty as a forum to address their classroom initiatives, and the program has continued to flourish. Continuing her education, Priscilla will graduate from Columbia University’s Teachers College in May 2017 with a master’s in Independent School Leadership from the prestigious Klingenstein Center.
