Mary Jo Pruitt serves as a consultant with the Finney Search Group, bringing a wealth of experience in athletic administration, coaching, and leadership development. She is currently the Executive Director of Athletics at Mission College Prep High School in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Before joining Mission College Prep, Mary Jo spent a decade as the Director of Athletics at Castilleja School, an independent all-girls school in Palo Alto, CA, where she oversaw both middle and upper school athletic programs, emphasizing academic and athletic excellence. During this time, she also served as Associate Commissioner of the West Bay Athletic League, managing operations and upholding league standards for a 12-school conference.

From 2015 to 2022, Mary Jo was a faculty member at Independent School Management, designing and leading professional development workshops for high school athletic directors nationwide. Earlier in her career, she spent eight years at Stanford University with the Cross Country and Track & Field teams, serving as Director of Operations and an assistant coach.

A former student-athlete at UC Davis, Mary Jo earned All-American honors in Track and Field. She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology from UC Davis and a Master of Arts in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco.
