Duncan has served as Chief of Staff at St. Paul’s for two years, after spending sixteen years at Roland Park Country School as the Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations. In his Chief of Staff role, he advances initiatives on behalf of the institution and collaborates with the Leadership Team, athletic and academic departments for day-to-day continuity. In addition, Duncan has campus-wide responsibility for all operations, including facilities, safety & security, and technology, etc. He oversees Risk Management and works closely with several board committees.

 

Duncan is considered a national leader in business operations amongst independent schools. He is currently the Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors for the National Business Officers Association (NBOA), and has previously served as a trustee of the Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools (AIMS).
