Duncan Booth is the Chief Operating Officer at The St. Paul’s Schools in Maryland. Duncan has been at St. Paul’s for four years after sixteen years at Roland Park Country School as the Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations. In his Chief Operating Officer, he advances initiatives on behalf of the institution and collaborates with the leadership team, and athletic and academic departments for day-to-day continuity. In addition, Duncan has campus-wide responsibility for all operations – facilities, safety & security, technology and the nursing team, etc. He oversees Risk Management and works closely with several board committees.
Duncan is a leader in business operations amongst independent schools, currently, Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Business Officers Association (NBOA) and has previously served as a trustee of the Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools (AIMS).
Duncan is an assistant coach for the varsity lacrosse team at St. Paul’s and each year, serves as an advisor for the senior projects for SPSG students.
Prior to his work in independent schools, Duncan worked at Verizon Communications, Mercantile Bank and retail sporting goods.
